    • Definition: A circular conveyor belt is created by joining the ends of a flat conveyor belt through methods like vulcanization, transforming it into a continuous loop. Alternatively, it can be manufactured directly as a seamless, jointless circular belt during the production process.

    • Structure: The carcass typically consists of high-quality all-cotton, cotton-viscose blended canvas, or nylon, EP polyester, NN, EE, and other fabric cores. It usually features 2 to 8 plies, along with top and bottom cover layers. Additionally, certain specialized circular, wear-resistant sidewall conveyor belts incorporate transverse rigid layers.

    • Smooth Operation: The core features seamless joints, or at joint areas where strength can reach up to 90% of the tape’s inherent strength. The surface shows no significant joint defects, tension is evenly distributed, ensuring smooth operation with minimal elongation during use.

    • Strong conveying capability: It can handle steep inclines—up to 90°—and delivers high material volumes while preventing spillage. Additionally, it enables smooth transitions between horizontal and inclined conveying angles.

    • Wide range of applications: We can produce various types—standard, heat-resistant (up to 180°C), cold-resistant (down to -40°C or lower), acid- and alkali-resistant, high-temperature resistant (up to 200°C), and hygienic—tailored to meet customer needs and suitable for diverse working environments.

    • Highly customizable: Custom-designed circular conveyor belts can be tailored to meet diverse transportation needs—such as varying distances, throughput requirements, and material characteristics—ensuring optimal performance for a wide range of specialized operational conditions.

    How it works

    An electric motor drives the transmission drum via a gearbox, creating friction between the drum and the conveyor belt, which keeps the loop-shaped belt moving continuously. As a result, materials are transported to the discharge point by the frictional force between the belt and the material itself.

    Joining method

    • Directly vulcanized into a circular belt: The conveyor belt is seamlessly formed into a loop during the manufacturing process, ensuring excellent integrity and high joint strength.

    • Leave a live end during vulcanization: When in use, heat and apply pressure on-site as needed to vulcanize the joint area, allowing flexible adjustment of both the joint’s position and duration.

    • On-site bonding using adhesives: The process is relatively simple, but it places high demands on the adhesive's performance.

    Precautions for Use

    Avoid material covering the idlers, prevent the conveyor belt from starting under load, promptly correct misalignment, repair localized damage, and ensure the conveyor belt avoids obstructions.
